The Mexico City Police reported on a shooting incident, which apparently followed a direct attack on three people at a food establishment on Niza Street, in the Juárez colony, in the Cuauhtémoc borough.
This is about the Luau restaurant in the Zona Rosa, located one block from the Glorieta del Ahuehuete and five blocks from the Angel of Independence.
According to initial reports, a woman and two men were dining at the establishment when two individuals arrived, fired shots, and fled on a motorcycle.
As a result of the incident, one man lost his life, while another person was injured and taken to a hospital, the Citizen Security Secretariat reported in a press release.
The incident was reported to the Public Ministry for expert services and case investigations; meanwhile, the search for the probable suspects is already underway with the support of surveillance cameras in the area.
